The Dasein AI Film Festival is a curated space for cinema exploring the evolving relationship between human consciousness and machine intelligence.

We highlight films engaging with identity, perception, memory, desire, and the layered realities shaped by algorithmic creation.

Guided by the Trans-Layer Consciousness Axis, Dasein approaches humans not as the apex of creation, but as transitional beings — manufactured, coded, unable to access our own source, now producing new minds that cannot fully perceive us.

The first edition took place in San Francisco. 22 films screened. 7 awards presented.

Dasein now continues as an ongoing series of curated screenings, held every two months, each exploring a new thematic dimension in dialogue with Raising AI: An Essential Guide to Parenting Our Future.

Through screenings, conversation, and community, Dasein offers a space where storytelling becomes encounter — with what we are becoming, and what may be becoming through us.
